Lyle Andersen, PT, CWCE (Certified Work Capacity Evaluator)

Lyle graduated from Loma Linda University in 1969 with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy. He started his physical therapy career with Memorial Hospitals Association in Modesto, California as a Director of Physical Therapy until 1996. In 1977, he became co-owner of Andersen and Baim Physical Therapy, which later became Andersen Physical Therapy in 2006. Lyle obtained his certification of Work Capacity Evaluator, CWCE, in 1998 and as a result specializes in occupational injury and prevention. He manages programs with connections to local industries. Programs include: On-site Ergonomic Evaluation, Pre-Work Testing, and Functional Capacity Evaluations.

Jon Andersen, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT (Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist)

Jon graduated from Loma Linda University in 2006 with his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. Jon completed his doctoral dissertation while studying shoulder mechanics on minor league (AAA) L.A. Dodgers pitchers and catchers, prior to joining Andersen Physical Therapy. Jon’s emphasis in physical therapy has been in outpatient orthopaedics and vestibular rehabilitation. In 2008, he became board certified as an orthopaedic clinical specialist (OCS) and later completed a fellowship in orthopaedic manual physical therapy (FAAOMPT) from Regis University in Denver,Colorado. Most recently, Jon completed a clinical competency certification in Aquatic Physical Therapy in 2015.

James Andersen, PTA, CEAS (Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist)

James began his physical therapy career in 1987 as an Aide with Memorial Hospital. He later attended Pacific Union College and soon thereafter obtained his Physical Therapy Assistant license in 1994. James spent a large portion of his career in acute physical therapy with Memorial Hospital South and North, where he focused his skills on working with neurological and orthopedic patients. He later joined Andersen Physical Therapy in 2002 where he became clinic specialist in Ergonomic and Post-Offer Pre-Employment Testing. Most recently, James completed a clinical competency certification in Aquatic Physical Therapy in 2016.

Sherilyn Andersen, PT, MSPT, CHT (Certified Hand Therapist)

Sheri graduated from Andrews University in 1996 with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Sheri’s professional emphasis has focused on neurological and orthopedic upper extremity conditions. She has completed extensive coursework in wrist and hand rehab along with the NDT approach for neurological disorders. Sheri became a certified hand therapist in 2016.

Danny Davenport, PT, DPT

Danny graduated from University of Pacific in 2012 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine with Magna Cume Laude honors and recognition for being outstanding senior in sports medicine.  Danny went on to complete his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from University of the Pacific in 2014. Danny is interested in the orthopaedics and outpatient pediatrics, especially children with cerebral palsy.

Jolene Anderson, OTR/L, CHT (Certified Hand Therapist)

Jolene earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1976. Her professional growth parallels the growth of the field of Hand Therapy. She has been a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists since 1979 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 1993. Through fieldwork supervision, classroom didactic presentations and lab courses, Jolene has educated students and therapists both here and abroad in hand therapy protocols and splinting.

Collette Perine, OTR/L, CHT (Certified Hand Therapist)

Colette completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1984 from San Jose State University. She became certified as Hand Therapist (CHT) in 1999. Colette has been established in Modesto for all her professional career and worked in a variety of Hand clinics. Colette joined APT in 2014 working alongside Jolene and Sheri, and has added a wealth of skills and clinical knowledge.
